A FREELY roaming lioness on the streets of Karachi in Pakistan on Tuesday (5) and attacking a person left everybody shocked and a video of the incident went viral in no time and even forced a former Pakistan cricket captain to react with horror.

According to reports, the local police said the lioness is a pet and escaped from her cage while being taken for medical treatment.

He also said that there is a black market for wild animals in Pakistan and people often keep them illegally.
