A man allegedly masturbating in front of a girl on board a bus in Rohini area of Delhi started crying when he was caught by a marshal of the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) who was present in the vehicle.
According to a video that went viral on social media, the accused allegedly masturbated in the DTC bus on Tuesday (3) and when the girl raised an alarm, the marshal named Sandeep Chakara caught hold of him.
But as soon as he was caught, the accused was seen crying, according to the video.
He was handed over to the police but was not arrested since no complaint had been lodged, a senior police officer said.
He also said that a probe was initiated under a cop from the police station in North Rohini.
The girl was contacted to record her statement or give any complaint in this regard but she refused, according to the police.
If any complaint is received with respect to the alleged incident in future, legal action will be taken under the appropriate sections of the law, the police added.
