In yet another revelation that would make his supporters worried, it has been reported that Russian president Vladimir Putin reportedly soiled himself after he fell off the stairs at his official residence in Moscow, fuelling further concerns over his reportedly worsening health.

The leader, who completed 70 in October, was immediately helped by his security guards, who rushed in after he stumbled, the New York Post reported.

The Post report said the veteran leader fell at his residence on Wednesday (30) evening, according to Telegram channel “General SVR”, which is reportedly run by a former Russian spy. The ailing leader allegedly fell down five steps before landing on his tailbone, the Post added.

The channel said although the guards immediately came to his rescue, the fall made Putin to “involuntarily defecate” due to “cancer affecting his stomach and bowels”.

The incident is the latest health care for the Russian leader who, according to reports, has worsening cancer and Parkinson’s disease amid the ongoing conflict with Ukraine which his troops attacked in February this year.

The state of Putin’s health became a talking point after his hand became purple during a meeting with Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel y Bermudez in Moscow last month.

According to a report, Putin was seen looking uncomfortable during his talks with the Cuban leader and tightly gripping the desk in front of him with his right hand.
