Yami Gautam had a Hollywood star to consider, but her answer to a playful question made it clear who would have her attention.

During a promotional event for her upcoming film Nayyi Navelli in Ahmedabad, India, the actor was asked to imagine sharing an autorickshaw ride with Brad Pitt. The host wanted to know whether she would check the vehicle’s meter if the Hollywood star were sitting beside her.

Instead of playing along with the hypothetical scenario, Yami brought her husband, filmmaker Aditya Dhar, into the conversation.

“Meri nazar Aditya Dhar pe hi rahegi,” she replied, meaning, “I’ll have my eyes only on Aditya Dhar.”

Yami and Aditya married in June 2021. The couple welcomed their son, Vedavid, in May 2024.

The ceremony was a particularly special occasion for both. Yami won the Best Actress in a Leading Role award for Article 370, while Aditya received the Best Film award as a producer of the same movie.

They coordinated their looks in matching black outfits for the event.
