The first season of Dutton Ranch, the latest Yellowstone spinoff, is coming to an intense conclusion. As Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler try to rebuild their lives in Texas, a shocking discovery threatens everything they have worked for.

After losing their Montana ranch in a devastating fire, Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser) started over with their adopted son, Carter (Finn Little). Their new beginning, however, has been anything but easy.

The family has faced one setback after another. Their cattle died from disease, leaving them struggling financially. Looking for a way forward, they joined forces with fellow rancher Beulah Jackson (Annette Bening) and her 10 Petal Ranch. Although Beulah was once an enemy, the partnership gave Beth and Rip hope for a fresh start.

But the alliance quickly became complicated.

Tension grew between Rip and Rob-Will Jackson (Jai Courtney), Beulah's troubled son, whose reckless behavior and substance abuse created constant conflict. As relationships deteriorated, Beth and Rip began uncovering secrets that could destroy the ranch and everyone connected to it.

In the Season 1 finale, titled "El Padrino," Beth and Rip discover that the 10 Petal Ranch has been running an illegal cattle-smuggling operation across the US-Mexico border to stay financially afloat. The next shipment is reportedly scheduled to leave within two days, raising the stakes even higher.

They also learn another disturbing truth. The disease that wiped out their own cattle may have originated at the Jackson family's ranch. The revelation comes as the Jackson family faces an internal battle over control of the ranch, making the situation even more dangerous.

With hidden secrets, family rivalries, and illegal operations colliding, the finale promises to deliver one of the biggest moments of the season.

The Season 1 finale, "El Padrino," will premiere on Friday, July 3, at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT on Paramount+.

The episode will also air later that day on the Paramount Network at 8 p.m. ET/PT, giving cable viewers another chance to watch the dramatic conclusion.

The series features a cast led by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, reprising their popular Yellowstone roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler. The ensemble also includes Finn Little, Annette Bening, Ed Harris, Jai Courtney, Juan Pablo Raba, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind.

Yes. Paramount+ officially renewed Dutton Ranch for a second season on June 24 following its record-breaking debut.
