England might have prepared well for the football World Cup kicking off in Qatar in another couple of days but after reaching the venue, their players have discovered a challenge that their management would have little expected.

The challenge is nothing but noisy camels.

The Three Lions had given a lot of thought into the team’s World Cup base and went for Souq Al Wakra Hotel thinking that would be a good place for the footballers to get away from the noise of capital Doha but it seems the decision might have backfired.

A pair of camels are reportedly making noise outside the hotel all night, causing disturbance to the footballers ahead of the big tournament.

The Daily Star has reported that a couple of grunting camels have been making noise throughout the night and according to local people, the ‘culprits’ love to chitchat.

The animals are kept in a fenced-off pen on the beach just yards away from the shoreside resort.

One local cafe owner said the camels like to talk and that makes them popular with tourists.

“Maybe they will keep England awake so Qatar will win,” he was quoted as saying by The Daily Star

The English players’ ordeal has been made worse by an allegedly bad sound insulation in the room, the report added.

Gareth Southgate’s squad reached Qatar on Tuesday (15) and will kick off its campaign in the tournament against Iran in Group B on Monday (21).

England play the US and Wales on November 25 and 29, respectively.
