Non-stop daily flights between Abu Dhabi & India’s Kerala starting May 9

The new additions will see IndiGo operating 56 weekly flights between eight Indian cities and the UAE capital.

THE upcoming summer vacation will see an increase in air trave options between the southern Indian state of Kerala and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is home to a huge Indian diaspora.

According to a report by Khaleej Times, India’s budget airline IndiGo has announced new direct flights between the capital of the UAE and Kannur, a district in northern Kerala.

It added that the non-stop daily flights between Kannur and Abu Dhabi starting May 9.

The new additions will see IndiGo operating 56 weekly flights between eight Indian cities and the UAE capital. The connectivity will promote travel, trade and tourism between the two countries, the ties between which have flourished of late.

Vinay Malhotra, head of global sales at IndiGo, was quoted as saying by Khaleej Times, “We are continuously working towards providing our customers with superior connectivity and enhanced accessibility to explore new horizons with our ever-expanding range of travel options.
