Disney California Adventure’s Halloween party returns with early ticket access, tiered pricing, and a limited run of spooky nights from August through October.

In this handout photo provided by Disneyland Resorts, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will bring frightfully fun experiences to guests from September 3rd through October 31, 2021, with Halloween magic throughout Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Parks. Every night in Disneyland Park, guests will enjoy a dreadfully delightful treat in the form of Halloween Screams, a supernatural projection and special effects show. On weekend nights, Halloween Screams also will take to the skies and punctuate the mischief with fireworks.

Disney’s Halloween season is already underway in terms of planning, with tickets now on sale for the 2026 Oogie Boogie Bash at the Disneyland Resort. The after-hours event at Disney California Adventure Park is one of the most in-demand seasonal experiences, and guests are already securing dates months in advance.

The Oogie Boogie Bash runs on select nights from August through October, offering a separately ticketed Halloween experience that transforms the park with themed entertainment, character encounters, and special attractions. The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., with early park access beginning at 3 p.m. for ticket holders.

Tickets are released in phases, giving Disney’s Magic Key holders early purchasing windows before the general public sale. Inspire Key holders gained first access, followed by other tiers such as Believe, Enchant, Explore, and Imagine. General public sales open shortly after, creating a fast-moving demand cycle for popular dates.

This year’s pricing varies by date, starting around $139 for early August nights and rising to nearly $199 for peak dates closer to Halloween. Higher prices are typically associated with weekends and late-October events, including Halloween night itself.

The event spans 33 nights, with availability spread across August, September, and October. Early dates tend to sell out quickly, especially weekends and themed nights. Guests are encouraged to choose dates early due to limited capacity.

Oogie Boogie Bash is known for immersive Halloween entertainment, including character meet-and-greets, themed treat trails, and nighttime experiences unique to Disney California Adventure. The park also allows ticket holders to enter earlier in the afternoon, giving visitors several hours to enjoy attractions before the event officially begins.

One key benefit of the ticket is that guests do not need a separate park reservation once entering after 3 p.m., making planning easier during the busy Halloween season.

While Disney has not revealed all details for this year’s entertainment lineup, the event traditionally includes villain-focused storytelling, exclusive parade elements, and seasonal overlays that are not available during regular park hours.

As demand continues to rise each year, early ticket access has become a major advantage for frequent Disney visitors and seasonal planners. With tickets already moving through early access tiers, guests are encouraged to act quickly to secure preferred dates.

More announcements are expected as the Halloween season approaches, including possible updates to entertainment, character appearances, and themed experiences across the park.
