INDIA defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by seven wickets in their clash in the cricket World Cup 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the western state of Gujarat on Saturday (14).
This was the eighth straight time that the Men in Blue have beaten the Green outfit in the quadrennial tournament, starting in 1992.
This was the second time that India defeated Pakistan batting second in a World Cup match. On five occasions, they won batting first.
