INDIAN multinational automotive company TVS Motor Company on Wednesday (8) announced its new distribution partnership with ETG Logistics (ETGL), headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, Asian News International reported.
TVS, which is based in Chennai in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, ranks among the top five two-wheeler companies in the world with a presence in more than 70 countries across the Indian sub-continent, Africa, South East Asia, Latin America and the Middle east.
ETGL, on the other hand, is a division of ETG (Export Trading Group) – a global conglomerate located in 48 nations with expertise across various industries.
ETGL will operate 30 dealerships for TVS Motor Company in South Africa as part of the partnership. The firm will also support TVS Motor with dedicated sales, service, spares and customer relationship management, including the assembly set-up and training centre in Johannesburg, the report added.

TVS Motor Company is set to launch products such as TVS Apache series, TVS HLX series, TVS NTORQ 125 and TVS Duramax Cargo in South Africa. The premium motorcycle series, TVS Apache, is also set to cater to the aspirations of the customers while TVS HLX, a global favorite, will provide last-mile connectivity for both personal commute and commercial delivery segments.
