Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made another red carpet appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, this time attending a L'Oréal event with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
For her second look, Rai wore a blush pink gown with a sheer cape. The outfit was designed by the Azerbaijan-based luxury fashion house Sophie Couture.
The actor stepped out on May 23 in the French Riviera. The gown featured a cinched waist, draped bodice, and a long flowing cape. The design included bejewelled flower details and a romantic silhouette.
The dress had a heart-shaped structure and was made from silk chiffon. It included a fitted bodice, a sweetheart neckline, and a pleated floor-length skirt. A bejewelled brooch held the drape at the neck, and the gown ended in a long train at the back.
The outfit also included a transparent blush pink cape that added volume and elegance to the overall look.
The gown was priced at about $ 3700, according to the brand’s official website.
Celebrity stylist Mohit Rai styled Aishwarya Rai for the appearance. The focus was kept on minimal accessories to highlight the gown.
She wore statement diamond rings on both hands and dangling diamond earrings. She also wore heels, keeping the overall styling simple.
Her makeup included shimmery eye shadow, winged eyeliner, mascara-coated lashes, feathered brows, glossy pink lipstick, blush on her cheeks, and highlighter.
Her hairstyle also changed for this appearance. She moved away from a center parting and instead dyed her hair a burgundy shade. It was styled in a side part with soft blowout waves.
Fans and social media users reacted strongly to the look. Many praised her appearance and styling choices.
One comment said, “The Queen has finally arrived.”
Another user praised her stylist and wrote, “Her stylist finally understood the assignment. This is the Aishwarya we’ve been waiting for.”
An internet fashion commentator, Diet Sabya, also reacted to the look. The comment read, “Here to save Cannes from becoming Chandivali Film Festival is a new and confident (we’ve prayed for days like these) ARB. Giving waist-snatched, arms out, and almost a hint of an ear. No, you aren’t dreaming at all. The children are FED today.”
The reactions highlighted strong approval of the actor’s red carpet appearance and styling direction.
The look followed her earlier appearance at Cannes, where she wore a sculptural blue gown by Amit Aggarwal. Her second appearance continued the theme of high-fashion gowns with strong design elements.
The blush pink look was widely shared online and received attention for its soft color, detailed craftsmanship, and bold styling choices.
