The much-anticipated collaboration between superstar Allu Arjun and director Atlee has finally kicked off, with shooting for their mega-action spectacle AA22xA6 commencing tomorrow in Mumbai. The film’s first schedule, set in Mumbai, will be brief but vital, establishing foundational sequences for what is expected to be a visually explosive and narratively rich journey.
Mrunal Thakur, who plays one of the leading female roles, will join Arjun in this initial shoot. A special photoshoot featuring the cast has also been planned for today, ahead of a formal announcement, to build momentum and fuel anticipation among fans.

While Mrunal Thakur is part of the opening schedule in Mumbai, Deepika Padukone, who plays the primary female lead, will join the project in the second half of 2025. She is currently finishing her schedule for Shah Rukh Khan’s next film King.
