ACTOR Allu Arjun has expressed gratitude to the Andhra Pradesh government for approving a hike in ticket prices for his upcoming film, “Pushpa 2: The Rule”.
The decision, which makes tickets for the sequel the highest-priced for a Telugu film, has been lauded by the actor as a boost to the Telugu film industry.
In a post shared on his X handle, Arjun wrote, “I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for approving the ticket hike. This progressive decision demonstrates your steadfast commitment to the growth and prosperity of the Telugu film industry.”

The film is directed by Sukumar and features returning stars Rashmika Mandanna and Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil.
The actor also personally thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their roles in the decision. “A special note of thanks to the Hon’ble @AndhraPradeshCM, Shri @ncbn garu, for his vision and unwavering encouragement to the industry. I also express my sincere thanks to the Hon’ble @APDeputyCMO, Shri @PawanKalyan garu, for his invaluable support in empowering the film industry,” he stated.
