Vijay Deverakonda’s much-anticipated Telugu film with director Gowtam Tinnanuri has been officially titled Kingdom. The film, which marks Vijay’s 12th project, is slated for grand theatrical release on May 30, 2025, in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
The film’s teaser, featuring voiceovers by Jr. NTR (Telugu), Suriya (Tamil), and Ranbir Kapoor (Hindi), provides a glimpse into an intense, action-packed narrative set inside a gritty prison. Without revealing much about the plot, the teaser sets the tone for a high-stakes drama.
Gowtam Tinnanuri, known for his acclaimed films Malli Raava and Jersey, is venturing into action for the first time with Kingdom. Anirudh Ravichander, who composed for Jersey, returns to collaborate with Gowtam for the film’s music.
The film boasts a strong technical crew, with National Award-winning editor Naveen Nooli handling editing duties, Avinash Kolla managing production design, and cinematography helmed by Jomon T. John and Girish Gangadharan.
Kingdom is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, in association with Srikara Studios. Following this project, Vijay Deverakonda is set to collaborate with directors Rahul Sankrityan and Ravi Kiran Kolla.
