Monalisa became an internet sensation after a video of her selling rudraksha garlands during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh went viral, captivating social media users with her striking features and humble background.
Monalisa has spent years selling flowers at Kila Ghat on the serene banks of the Narmada River in Maheshwar. Her journey from a street vendor to a film actress marks an extraordinary transformation, demonstrating the power of digital fame. Director Sanoj Mishra, known for The Diary of West Bengal, met Monalisa and her family to discuss the project, and she is set to begin shooting in February.
Mishra took to Instagram to announce the news, sharing a video of Monalisa. Though neither he nor Monalisa disclosed specific details about their discussions, the announcement has generated significant buzz. Monalisa, grateful for the opportunity, expressed her determination, stating, “Mehnat karungi” (I will work hard).
