Rashmika Mandanna has finally broken her silence about the hip injury she sustained while filming Mysaa. The actor shared a heartfelt update on social media, explaining how the injury happened, why she had been missing from social media, and how she has been spending her recovery period.

Alongside the note, Rashmika shared a series of photos featuring selfies, cookies, puzzles, a bouquet wishing her a speedy recovery, and adorable moments with her pet dogs.


The actor revealed that the injury occurred during an intense dance sequence for Mysaa, which she described as "the most aggressive film I’ve ever done for sure!" According to Rashmika, one of the tendons in her right hip detached, making it difficult for her to lift her leg until it heals properly. Despite the setback, she reassured fans that while the injury is painful, it remains manageable.

Rashmika also reflected on the series of injuries she has suffered recently, calling them "freak accidents." Although the recovery has forced her to slow down, she has embraced the downtime by solving puzzles and spending time at home. She admitted she misses her regular workout routine and joked that without exercise, she risks becoming a "dessert monster."

Earlier reports suggested that Rashmika had suffered a complete hip tendon detachment while filming the dance sequence and was advised to undergo six weeks of rest and rehabilitation before returning to work.

The actor recently resumed shooting for Mysaa following her wedding to Vijay Deverakonda. Directed by debutant Rawindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films, the emotional action thriller is set against the backdrop of the Gond tribes and stars Rashmika as a Gond woman. She assured fans that she will continue to share updates as she recovers and prepares to return to the sets.
