A disturbing video showing three young boys hanging by nooses as part of a school function has gone viral on social media, triggering widespread outrage.

The footage, which surfaced online after India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, has raised serious concerns about child safety and school event oversight.

The clip shows the children standing on a stage with nooses around their necks, attached to a wooden beam. They are dressed in prisoner costumes with their heads covered in black cloth, resembling an execution scene.

The act appears to have been performed as part of a Republic Day program at an unidentified school. The exact date and location of the incident remain unclear.

The video has sparked a heated debate, with many social media users demanding strict action against the school authorities and the organizers of the event. One X user, sharing the clip, wrote, “It is wrong to put someone’s life in danger like this for a program… It is necessary to investigate when and where the incident occurred and take cognizance of it.”

Another user expressed concern about the potential dangers of children mimicking such stunts, writing, “Where is this from brother? After watching such videos, children today copy them very quickly. If any accident happens, who will be responsible?”

Many users condemned the act, calling for legal action. One person wrote, “This incident must be investigated, and strict action must be taken to ensure no one dares to organize such programs again.” Another user demanded immediate government intervention, stating, “Govt and police should take strict action against this school and the program… very bad scenario.”

The video has also sparked anger among activists and concerned citizens who questioned the rationale behind such a dangerous performance. “Who are these demons putting young children’s lives in danger in the name of teaching them ‘patriotism’? They should have tried it on themselves instead! They must be punished!” one person commented.

Another user suggested that those responsible should undergo rehabilitation, saying, “This is extremely dangerous, and the organizer needs to be rehabilitated.”

The viral video, which has now garnered over 1.4 million views on X, has once again raised serious concerns about safety protocols in schools. Experts argue that such reckless performances not only endanger children’s lives but also set a dangerous precedent for impressionable students.

While authorities have yet to identify the school involved, the growing outrage may prompt an official investigation. The incident highlights the urgent need for stricter regulations and oversight to prevent potentially life-threatening acts in school events.
