Sunak reshuffles top team, creates new departments

Bank of America is working with Early Warning Services, the company that runs Zelle — on a pilot that would connect Zelle's payment network in the US directly to India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI). If it works, an Indian American in New Jersey could send money to a parent in Jaipur roughly the same way they'd Zelle a friend for dinner: no wire transfer, no waiting days, no separate app. The pilot links the alias-based payment systems of Zelle and UPI, and BofA has described it as a major step forward in that kind of payment technology.
