AFTER ice-cream, it's books.
Indian billionaire and co-founder of information technology giant Infosys, Narayana Murthy, recently was seen checking out books at a roadside stall in his home town Bengaluru in India. He was accompanied with his wife Sudha Murty, an author and philanthropist, and daughter Akshata Murty, wife of British prime minister Rishi Sunak. His two granddaughters -- Anoushka and Krishna -- were also seen.
A video of their visit to the book stall went viral on social media.
MR Guru Prasad, a X user, shared the video of the high-profile family's casual outing in the city saying their simplicity was something to notice, with no security in sight.

“UK PM Rishi Sunak's wife and kids spotted at Raghavendra Mutt in Bengaluru, accompanied by Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy. Their simplicity shines through, with no security in sight," the user wrote.

In the video, Murthy and his family are seen standing in front of the bookshop. Akshata, a businesswoman and a venture capitalist who is among the richest in the UK along with her politician husband, is seen conversing with her father.
The video was shared quite a few times.
It was only a few days ago that Murthy and Akshata were seen enjoying ice-cream at a reputed shop in Bengaluru, along with commoners.
A picture of the duo went viral as well with a X user writing, “Britain's First Lady Akshata Murty with her Father Shri Narayan Murthy at Corner House in Jayanagar Bengaluru”.
The family was praised for its simplicity then as well.
Akshata and his brother Rohan Murty took part in the launch event of a book on Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murty by author Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni -- An Uncommon Love: The Early Life of Sudha and Narayana Murthy.
Akshata was in India with PM Sunak on an official visit to India last year to attend the G20 summit in New Delhi.
