Birthday celebrations for Khushi Kapoor
Actor Khushi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, turns 25 on November 5. The Archies star marked her birthday with a pajama-themed celebration attended by friends and her pets, with photos from the evening circulating among fans online. As wishes poured in, a lighthearted childhood memory shared by her sister Janhvi Kapoor resurfaced, adding to the birthday buzz.
The viral throwback clip
During promotions for her debut film Dhadak in 2018, Janhvi received a surprise video message from Khushi in which she teasingly asked why Janhvi “enjoyed pinching” her as a baby. Actor Ishaan Khatter, who was present at the interview, added to the joke asking why she bit her sister.
Janhvi explained she had “cute aggression” as a child and admitted she both pinched and bit Khushi because she found her “too cute.” She went on to recall that their family jokingly called Khushi “Hrithik Roshan” because she was “chubby” with what she described as “fat biceps,” clarifying it was a childhood nickname.
Fans revisiting the clip related to the sibling dynamic, with one saying being an elder sister can feel “like being a mother,” while another pointed out how Khushi reminded them of Sridevi in the throwback moment.
What’s next for Khushi
Khushi, who made her screen debut in 2023, is set to begin filming Mom 2, a sequel to Sridevi’s final release Mom (2017). The project has generated curiosity as it brings Khushi closer to a title that holds deep personal significance.
Here’s wishing her a happy birthday and a promising year ahead.
