Actor Sidharth Malhotra shared an adorable photo of himself where he is being a typical girl dad, especially proving that his daughter is a mini version of his beautiful wife Kiara Advani. The actor, who welcomed a baby girl with wife Kiara Advani last year, recently shared a lighthearted and touching post that gave followers a peek into his life as a “girl dad.”

On Wednesday (16), Sidharth took to Instagram to post a photo that quickly caught attention. In the image, he is seen smiling gently at the camera, dressed casually in a white T-shirt. What stood out most, however, was a small white bow clipped into his hair—a playful and sweet detail that hinted at a moment shared with his daughter.

Along with the photo, he wrote, “Tell me you’re a girl dad without telling me you’re a girl dad (bow emoji).”

The post instantly resonated with fans, who flooded the comments section with affectionate messages. One user wrote, “Pookie Malhotra,” while another shared, “WE ALWAYS KNEW YOU'LL BE A CERTIFIED GIRL DAD SINCE AGES LIKE... PLEASE.”

Sidharth and Kiara first shared the news of their daughter’s arrival on Instagram on July 15 last year. In their announcement, they wrote, “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl. – Kiara & Sidharth.” After the announcement, the couple also requested photographers to respect their privacy and avoid taking pictures of their newborn.

Later, they revealed their daughter’s name in another post. Sharing a photo of themselves holding her tiny feet, they wrote, "From our prayers, to our arms (folded hand emoji) our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra."

Sidharth has also spoken about fatherhood in public. During a conversation with Barkha Dutt at the We The Women festival in Mumbai, he shared how becoming a father has changed his daily life.

He said that giving his daughter a morning massage has become part of his routine. “That’s our routine, waking up with her stretching. Life has definitely changed for the better ever since I became a girl dad. She’s in her best phase right now. I have never lost so many arguments to someone who can’t speak. I realised that I am no longer the hero of the house; she’s the superstar,” the actor said.

Sidharth and Kiara got married in 2023 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The couple had previously worked together in the 2021 film Shershaah.
