Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, are reportedly expanding their family once again.

According to PEOPLE, the Stranger Things star and Bongiovi have welcomed their second child through adoption. The couple have not yet publicly announced the news themselves.

The reported arrival comes just over a year after Brown and Bongiovi revealed that they had adopted their first child.

A growing family

Brown, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, became parents for the first time in 2025, announcing the adoption of their baby girl in August that year.

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple shared at the time. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

They signed off the announcement with, “And then there were 3.”

The couple have continued to keep their family life largely private. Earlier this month, Brown shared a glimpse of a family-filled trip to Italy's Dolomites mountain range, giving fans a look at her life away from the spotlight.

Adoption has always been close to Brown's heart

The reported news also has a special significance given Brown's previous comments about adoption.

During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast in 2025, the actress spoke about her desire to become a parent, while acknowledging that she was also focused on her career.

Brown later opened up more about adoption during an interview on Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce in June. She said adoption had been part of her dreams since childhood and recalled growing up with adopted baby dolls.

“It was always part of my childhood dreams,” Brown said.

She also made it clear that choosing adoption does not mean she has ruled out having biological children in the future.

“It’s not because I don’t want that. Hopefully one day that’s in my future,” she said.

For Brown, adoption represents something deeply personal. “Adoption is love, adoption is forever,” she added.

From Eleven to a new chapter

Brown became a global star through her role as Eleven in Netflix's Stranger Things. She married Bongiovi, the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, in 2024.

While her career continues to keep her in the spotlight, parenthood has become an important part of her life away from the screen.

The couple's reported second adoption marks another new chapter for their family, although they have yet to confirm the news publicly.
