SHE made the headlines on Sunday (31) after whipping off her England jersey after scoring the winner against continental rivals Germany in the final of Euro 2022 in Wembley, London, and running in her sports bra, making the image an iconic one for feminists who identify themselves closely with the game.
However, two days since the heroics, the 24-year-old Chloe Kelly was left perplexed during a television interview with journalist and anchor Richard Madeley after 'The Good Morning Britain' presenter called her "Coco", a name by which he refers to his daughter while talking about Kelly's extra-time goal which helped England bury Germany 2-1 and lift their maiden title, the Daily Express reported.
Madeley rounded off the interview with Chloe, saying, "Chloe - or 'Coco' as I call my daughter Chloe - Coco, thank you very much indeed for coming in."
Kelly returned a smile but along with the several viewers, she also seemed perplexed by the anchor's comment.
The footballer, who plays for Manchester City, is still on a high following her historic 110-minute strike which left the home spectators hysterical. As she was swarmed by her ecstatic team-mates, she ran around swinging her national jersey overhead in what many thought would become an immortal scene for years to come.
