A SOFTWARE engineer was found hanging in his flat at Chikkabanavara in the Bengaluru on Monday (7), police said.
Prashant Nair (40), who is suspected to have died by suicide, was working with Lenovo, police said.
No suicide note has been found so far.
His wife Pooja Nair is also a software engineer, working with Dell.
They got married 12 years ago and have an eight-year-old daughter.
Prashant’s father M N Kutty said that his son and Pooja were living separately for some time following a discord.
Kutty said he was trying to reach Prashant over the phone, but his calls went unanswered.
He reached his house to check and found him hanging from the ceiling fan.
A case has been registered at the local police station and investigating is underway.
