The Leela Hyderabad is set to host an exclusive two-day Chef Pop-Up featuring the acclaimed Norway-based Michelin-starred Chef Andrea Selvaggini on 19th and 20th September 2025. The event is in collaboration with CONOSH, an Indian brand dedicated to redefining the world of gastronomy through immersive dining experiences and culinary education and has set an unprecedented standard for epicurean exploration.
This event marks Chef Selvaggini’s first appearance in India, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience his distinctive culinary artistry firsthand.
Hailing from Tarquinia, Italy, Chef Selvaggini has built a remarkable career across Europe, Mexico, and Norway, culminating in the opening of his own restaurant, Savage, in Oslo. Within just seven months, Savage earned its first Michelin star, making him the first Italian chef in Norway to achieve this recognition. His cuisine is celebrated for its precision, seasonality, and creative storytelling, qualities that he will bring to Raen – The Chef Studio in Hyderabad.
During the two-day pop-up, Chef Selvaggini will present a curated menu that blends his European sensibilities with the local flavors of India. Signature dishes include Nettle Pasta with spring cassoulet and fermented white asparagus, the delicately composed Zucchini Flower with saffron and elderflower emulsion, and Smoked Duck Royale with fermented koji and burnt roses. Guests will have the chance to enjoy an intimate, immersive dining experience, witnessing the artistry and technique behind each meticulously crafted plate.
“This debut in India is incredibly special,” said Chef Selvaggini. “At Raen – The Chef Studio, I hope to create moments that go beyond taste, sharing my journey, philosophy, and the joy of storytelling through food. Hyderabad’s vibrant energy makes it the perfect stage for this experience.”
Neha Malik and Vaibhav Bahl, co-founders of CONOSH, added, “Hosting Chef Selvaggini aligns with our vision of bringing global culinary excellence to Indian audiences. Partnering with The Leela Hyderabad allows us to curate an immersive gastronomic experience that celebrates innovation, craftsmanship, and world-class talent.”
