The Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha community in the Atlanta area is preparing for a series of vibrant and spiritually uplifting celebrations in honor of Swaminarayan Jayanti and Ram Navami. These special events will take place at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Atlanta and will bring together families, devotees, and community members for several days of devotion, cultural programs, and spiritual reflection.
The main community celebration will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The highlight of the event will be a cultural program titled “Divine Lives, Enduring Family Values.” This inspiring presentation will be performed by children and youth from the BAPS community. Through music, storytelling, and performances, the program will share meaningful lessons from the lives and teachings of Swaminarayan and Rama.

The event will also feature spiritual discourses delivered by respected swamis, who will offer guidance on faith, family values, and devotion. Following the program, mahaprasad, a sacred vegetarian meal blessed at the temple, will be served to attendees. The gathering aims to provide a welcoming and spiritually enriching experience for people of all ages.
In addition to the main celebration, the mandir will observe traditional tithi-based rituals on Thursday, March 26, 2026, following the Hindu lunar calendar. The day’s observances will begin with Shri Ram Bhagwan Janmotsav, commemorating the birth of Lord Rama, from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM. Later in the evening, a joint celebratory sabha will take place from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, bringing devotees together for prayers, devotional singing, and spiritual reflections.

The celebrations will continue late into the evening with the Shri Swaminarayan Bhagwan Janmotsav rituals, which will begin at 10:00 PM. These ceremonies honor the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and include devotional singing, prayers, and sacred rituals performed in the mandir.
A special program dedicated to women will also be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Titled “Preme Pragatya Re,” the celebration will feature devotional performances, artistic presentations, and spiritual reflections presented by women of the BAPS community. The program will highlight themes of devotion, faith, and the expression of spirituality through creativity and service.
Organizers warmly invite individuals and families from across the region to participate in these uplifting celebrations. The events aim to strengthen spiritual values, celebrate Hindu traditions, and bring the community together in a spirit of faith, culture, and unity.
