Daniel Coleman, the creator and host of the popular children’s YouTube series Danny Go!, has announced the death of his son, Isaac Coleman, after a battle with cancer.
On Friday (22), Daniel shared the heartbreaking news through an Instagram post. He revealed that Isaac passed away on Thursday, (21). Along with the announcement, Daniel posted a headshot of Isaac and another photo showing himself holding his son.
In the caption, Daniel wrote a deeply emotional tribute to Isaac and reflected on his son’s life, strength, and personality.
“Oh my sweet boy. There’s so much I want to say, but I don’t know how yet,” Daniel wrote. “I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process. But looking through thousands of pictures and videos this past week, I’m also filled with tremendous pride.”
Daniel continued by speaking about the many challenges Isaac faced during his life. He praised his son’s courage and positive spirit despite the difficulties.
“Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit…and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all,” he continued. “You truly had a spark like no other, Isaac! Remembering how loved you were and how full of life your time here was gives me great comfort. Being your dad was the honor of a lifetime. I’m so proud of you and I love you forever. Rest peacefully, son.”
The Instagram post quickly drew support and sympathy from followers and fans. Many people shared messages of condolence for Daniel and his family after the announcement.

Isaac had also faced serious health challenges since birth. According to Daniel, Isaac was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia when he was born. The Cleveland Clinic describes Fanconi Anemia as a “rare inherited condition that affects your bone marrow and many other parts of your body.”
Despite his medical struggles, Daniel’s tribute described Isaac as a joyful and strong child who continued to inspire those around him. The YouTuber reflected on his son’s life with pride and gratitude while expressing the deep pain of losing him.
