Salman Khan shared another social media post after his recent “lonely” message created a buzz online and worried many fans.
The actor explained that he was not talking about being emotionally alone. He said he only meant that he sometimes wants personal space and quiet time away from people.
In his new post, Salman wrote, “Arre yaar, main apne baare mein nahi baat kar raha tha (I was not talking about myself). How can I be alone when I have such a large, amazing family and friends? How can I be lonely when I have you guys, your wishes and duas? I would be the biggest na—shukra ever (I would be ungrateful). Kabhi kabhi logon ke saath reh kar pak jaata hoon (Sometimes I get bored in people's company), isliye some me-time, bas... Iss baar koi photo nahi—breaking news bana diya (This time, no picture; don't make it breaking news). Mummy pooch rahi hai, 'Kya hua beta?' Chill maro yaar.”
Unlike many of his social media posts, Salman did not share a photograph with this update.
Fans quickly reacted to the post in the comments section.
One fan wrote, “Just Salman Khan things.”
Another commented, “Oh, you are back in your old mood.”
A third fan wrote, “You have my heart always. Aapki hasi humeshaa mehfilon ko sajaaye.”
The new clarification came a day after Salman posted a photo of himself lying on a sofa in a dimly lit room. The picture became widely discussed online because of his appearance and muscular look.
In the caption of that earlier post, Salman wrote, “By I me myself, 2 ways to be by yr self, Alone and Lonely, Alone is by choice n lonely when nobody wants to be with u..... Ab iske aage you figure out what you need to do.”
The post immediately led to speculation among fans about his emotional state.
Actress Sneha Ullal, who worked with Salman in the 2005 film Lucky, also reacted to the photo. She commented, “Uffff Adiiii, why didn't you do all this during Lucky?” In the movie, Salman played the role of Adi, also known as Aditya Sekhri.
Salman’s former girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani and singer Iulia Vantur also commented on the post.
In a recent interview with Variety India, Salman made another surprising revelation. He said he does not read complete film scripts before signing movies.
The actor said, “I have never read a script in my entire life. I've written them, but I've never read them.”
Earlier, Salman had also explained that he prefers understanding the feel and commercial appeal of a movie instead of reading every detail in a script. He said reading full scripts sometimes leads to overthinking. However, he added that he has written scripts and ideas himself.
Salman Khan was recently seen in a cameo role as Jiva Mahala in Raja Shivaji.
He will next appear in the film Maatrubhumi.
